A Workbook for Assisting Common Criteria Evaluation Laboratory Personnel with AVA Strength of Function Analysis
Historically, Strength of Function (SOF) analyses were inconsistent across schemes, labs, and evaluators under Common Criteria version 2.x. This resulted in the re-invention of an SOF analysis for each evaluation, and made it difficult for vendors to consistently address the SOF analysis. To solve this problem, Corsec Security, Inc. developed a comprehensive solution using Venn diagrams and associated space calculations. This solution satisfied the schemes, labs, and evaluators to whom it was submitted, and is outlined in the workbook.
